How to Unwind with Different Methods of Yoga

 

If you struggle with the concept of letting go, try these methods to bring your mind to a quiet, restful state. Reduce stress and anxiety with any or all of the following methods.

  • Yoga Nidra or Guided Meditation
    Lay back, listen, and deeply relax while restoring your body with the practice of Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep. This method, or any guided meditation, can be an effective means of relaxation.

  • Breath Work
    Simple breathing exercises are helpful as well. Relieve tension - muscular, emotional, and mental. Try Wim Hof's exercises.

  • Bedtime Routine
    Winding down before bed can be as easy as sceduling enought time for a meaningful skincare routine. Mindfully stripping off the day's grime and slowly applying your favorite serum with a guasha is an easy way to slow down your thinking and reliquish all of the stress from your busy day.

Making a few adjustments to allow relaxation daily can improve sleep and relieve insomnia, train your mind, help enhance memory, and increase your learning capacity. You will begin to see an increase in energy levels, Optimizing mindfulness allows you to live fully in the present. So, clear those subconscious thoughts and improve your creativity, senses and cultivate body awareness.
